About Us

Dharmaveer Diliprao Rahate Shikshan va Bahu uddeshiya Sanstha’s Arts & Science Mahavidyalaya , Mehkar was established in 1997. The founder president of the college , Hon’ble Pratapraoji Jadghav, M.P. of Buldhana District dreamt of rural girls’ student higher education. Rural girls were unable to pursue higher education due to so many hurdles. Hence taking this view into consideration, honourable President founded College. 

The College is affiliated to Sant Gandge Baba Amravati University. The aim of college is to provide education to women &their overall development. The college provides education to the wards of poor families.The college generously offers admissions to the students belonging to backward class irrespective of their poor performance.
