The Smt. Sindhutai Jadhao Arts and Science Mahavidyalaya Library’s mission is to share information with the community of users, advancing knowledge, and facilitating connection

The means by which researchers and scholars and students collect, access, and disseminate data, information, and research results will continue to develop as technology changes, using new ways of discovery and use, new mechanisms of collecting, storing, cataloging and sharing information, and new forms of publishing.

The Smt Sindhutai Jadhao Arts and Science Mahavidyalaya Library more resources which include books, bound volumes of journals, theses and students’ reports. The library collection includes the key works of reference pertaining to the 03 Faculties on Campus. subjects like English, Marathi, English Lit. Marathi Lit. History, Economics, Political Sci. Sociology, Home Economics, Microbiology Biology, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Math, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, and Library Science , are all available. In addition the Library has a growing collection of Audio Visual Resources on CDs, DVDs and Slides..

A user-friendly library software called Soul.2.0 has been adopted at the Library. This internationally recognized software facilitates automated circulation (issue & return) of the books and speedy access to bibliographies, locations and availability information of the books stocked in the library.

During academic session, library is open for more than 50 hours per week.

To provide well – equipped and functional physical spaces where students can pursue learning independently beyond the classroom

Mission

                    Our library serves as a resource center and aims to develop a comprehensive collection of books and journals useful for faculty and students of the institute and provides an efficient dissemination of knowledge

                     Learning activities that foster in students the abilities to select, analyze, evaluate and create information. Physical access to information. Learning experience in communication media and technology. Access to a full range of information beyond the college building
